The Westin New York At Times Square Hotel

We loved the friendly staff and the location was excellent. There is Five Guys serving quick meals 10 mins walk from the hotel. Wonderful views from the window. Gulliver's gate is really walkable.

Broadway is just a quick walk away, which is convenient.

Excellent view of Broadway by the way.

Times Square is 2 min walk from venue.

We had an upgrade to a corner room on the 41st floor; the view was really phenomenal.

Breakfast was a mockery. Thrifty and if you didn't go very early, you were waiting for a long time. A continental breakfast did not include scrumbled eggs. If you did take that unsuspectingly, you would get an extra bill of $ 9.00 per person! Eventually we threw away our vouchers and went to a 'Pain Quotidien' for our breakfast (which was very tasty!!).

Rooms were fine, not big, but for New York standards completely in order. Beautiful spacious lobby and friendly staff.

Location is top. Next to several metro lines, in the heart of NY. Eateries all around the hotel.

15 dollars a day for WiFi connection in the room is no longer of this time. Certainly not if you pay 350 dollars per night for a 3-person room. The beds were small. 2 adult guys in their early 30's do not fit.

The location of the hotel is very central and the facilities are high quality.

We booked months in advance and got only one room on the ninth floor. The view from standard rooms is disappointing - view to a wall! The price for the room is extremely high.

Fantastic room and bed and view.

Fridge was comletely full already, got charge for drinks we didn't purchase. There was an error with booking on Booked.net being 4 nights and Westin only making a 3 night one. While in the end we kept the room for one night the attitude of the concierge staff was not what you would expect given it was Westin's error, they seemed to think it was our problem until I became angry at them. Also charged for internet while the cheapest of cheap hotels even in Egypt have free wifi.

Great view from the 21 floor. The bed were great. the location was amazing, 2 blocks from Times Square.

They have give me a two beds room but I was travelling alone. No Free wireless net anywhere in the hotel, not even in the lobby, and it was expensive to use it.

Staff was tremendous. Upgraded my room and were extremely attentive. Room was beautiful, clean and had a great view.

Good location for shows and ny generally. Rooms are quite large plently of lifts and quick. Room was cleanand serviced all days included xmas day. Good view of 8th street but without noise but was on 10th floor so this may be different lower down. Rates are good at the weekend and over xmas.

Not very good information available about whats on available unless you extract it from Concierge when they are there. For example there is a Cinema and mexican restaurant accessible through the hotel on the lower ground floor and we only found out by accident as we left. Hotel access is on the first floor and getting through revolving doors and up an escallator with big cases is very difficult. The room has a fridge but filled wiht expensive bottles and if you move you pay I was advised.

Comfortable, well-appointed rooms, large by nyc standards.
